SPORTS PROGRAMS
OLPH Sports program is open to all OLPH students with a "C" average in both academics and behavior. ( D's or F's in any subject disqualify extra curricular activity).
The sign-up fee is currently $25 with an obligation to work 2 hours in the
snack bar during that season. The obligation may be waived for an
additional $50.
OLPH offers football, basketball, and soccer for Junior High boys and
volleyball, soccer, and basketball for Junior High girls. Students play at junior varsity or varsity levels. Peewee soccer is available for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 4th grades.

BOYS SPORTS
Football:
Grades: 4 th grade (as part of the practice team) through 8 th grades. Season: Fall- starting September thru November
Notes: OLPH is known for it's award-winning football program, sending athletes to Saints, Cathedral, and the local public high schools well prepared for full contact tackle football. OLPH proudly honors our teams as they achieved titles of JV & Varisty League Champs !
Basketball:
Grades: 5 th through 8 th grades.
Season: Winter- December, with games beginning in January
Notes: Teams in the past have competed in the finals and placed in the Saint Augustine High School Tournament.
Soccer:
Grades : 5 th through 8 th
Season: Spring- Teams start practicing in March
Notes: OLPH School fields very qualified and talented soccer players.
PeeWee Soccer :
Grades: Grades Kindergarten through 4
Season: Winter - Beginning December/January
Notes: Sportsmanship & skill-building league.
GIRLS SPORTS:
Volleyball :
Grades: 5 th through 8 th grades.
Season: Fall- Sept through November
Notes: OLPH has a competitive volleyball program with several girls that also play at the club level. Teams have accomplished championship records in the past.
Soccer:
Grades: 5 th through 8 th grades.
Season: Winter- December with games in January
Notes: OLPH Girl's Soccer teams have finished first or second in the playoffs for the past five years.
Basketball:
Grades: 5 th through 8 th grades
Season: Spring starting in March
Notes: The Lakers teams have the talent and energy to be first rate.
Pee Wee Soccor:
Grades: Grades Kindergarten through 4
Season: Winter - Beginning in Dec/January
Notes: Sportsmanship & skill-building league.
